Welcome to the Let Us Pray Today website. Praying to God helps the lives of all those who believe. It is our mission to bring together the faithful to share in prayer for those in need. If you would like to submit a prayer request, it will be shared with our community of faithful prayer partners, so that they may pray for you.
If you or a family member is need of prayer, the Lord shall hear your request through the prayers of the entire Let Us Pray Today community. You are not walking a lonely course, but rather holding hands with those who care. Christ loves everyone and is filled with happiness when they are praying together online or in church.
Healing is a long process that begins with prayer and faith. The Bible tells us what we must do, and we must have the strength to come together in Holy worship. Submit a prayer and read the prayers of those who are in need of help and guidance. Jesus loves us all. It is our faith that binds us together on this Earth. God Bless You.
First before the following message.
I have a message of my own.

Later, the followers met together in Galilee. Jesus said to
the followers, "The Son of Man will be given into the control
of men. Those men will kill the Son of Man. But on the third
day the Son of Man will be raised from death." The followers
were very sad {to hear that Jesus would be killed}.
-- Matthew 17:22-23 (ERV)
KEY THOUGHT:
Spiritual truth is in short supply in our era of politically correct
speech, carefully crafted answers, and plain old stretching and hedging
the truth. Jesus, however, is very plain about his future. There is
nothing hidden or fancy.
Jesus' simple and direct speech makes his forecast even more shocking.
So at Jesus' first self-revelation about the cross, Peter rebuked him
and would not allow Jesus to prophesy his future because it "couldn't
be true" that the Messiah would go to the cross. But this was God's
plan. This is God's truth.
Thankfully for Jesus, the disciples are beginning to hear a little more
carefully and they pick up on the sense of impending confrontation and
battle at the cross. This time they hear Jesus' message and instead of
responding with a stern rebuke of their Master, they are very
sorrowful.
It is never easy to mature people beyond their prejudices and biases.
But Jesus reminds us that while the growth may be slow, the victory can
be very sweet. While the disciples are not all the way to understanding
the cross, they have at least begun their journey!
TODAY'S PRAYER:
Righteous and tender Shepherd, give me more patience with those who are
trying to grow in their discipleship to Jesus but who so often fail. At
the same time, Father, I pray that my own discipleship gives you fewer
times that require you to be patient with my sins and mistakes. I pray
that the future brings you more joy at the growth you see in me. Use me
as an encourager, a comforter, and a motivator to those seeking to live
for you and know your abiding presence. I praise you and give thanks
for Jesus, in whose name I pray. Amen.

Who He Is!
Jesus went to the area of Caesarea Philippi. Jesus said to
his followers, "I am the Son of Man. Who do the people say I
am?" The followers answered, "Some people say you are John
the Baptizer. Other people say you are Elijah. And some
people say that you are Jeremiah or one of the prophets."
-- Matthew 16:13-14 (ERV)
KEY THOUGHT:
As believers, we know who Jesus is in the Gospel of Matthew. He is
Immanuel, God with us. He is the Christ. He is Lord. He is Son of God.
Isn't it amazing, however, how people in Jesus' own day tried to lump
him in as just another great religious teacher very much like many try
to do today. But human speculation can never live up to heavenly
revelation. God has revealed himself in Jesus. We either accept God's
definition of Jesus, or we reject both Jesus and God.
In an age and culture of pluralism, that sounds awfully closed minded.
But neither our reputation nor our repudiation is of consequence in
comparison with rejecting or accepting God's revelation about himself.
TODAY'S PRAYER:
Holy and matchless God, thank you for your Sovereign choice to send
Jesus as my Savior and Lord, your promised Messiah, the Christ. I
boldly and unashamedly confess Jesus as Lord and thank you for sending
him to save me from my sin and myself. Thank you so much in Jesus'
name. Amen.

Late that afternoon, the followers came to Jesus and said,
"No people live in this place. And it is already late. Send
the people away so they can go to the towns and buy food for
themselves." Jesus answered, "The people don't need to go
away. You give them some food to eat." The followers
answered, "But we have only five loaves of bread and two
fish." Jesus said, "Bring the bread and the fish to me." Then
Jesus told the people to sit down on the grass. Jesus took
the five loaves of bread and the two fish. Jesus looked into
the sky and thanked God for the food. Then Jesus divided the
loaves of bread. Jesus gave the bread to the followers, and
the followers gave the bread to the people. All the people
ate and were filled. After the people finished eating, the
followers filled twelve baskets with the pieces of food that
were not eaten. There were about 5,000 men there that ate.
There were also women and children that ate.
-- Matthew 14:15-21 (ERV)
KEY THOUGHT:
Don't you just love it that the disciples who didn't think they could
do anything to feed the whole crowd each got to pick up a basket full
of pieces that were left over! Jesus has a way of using, teaching, and
rebuking us all at the same time when we don't have faith that what
needs to be done can be done with his blessing.
What doors of opportunity is the Lord opening for you to minister
through right now? Are you afraid you don't have the resources?
Remember, Jesus' power is great when the glory goes to God, ministry is
for others, we pool our resources, we offer what we have to him, and we
are motivated out of compassion!
TODAY'S PRAYER:
Loving and gracious Father, give me courage and faith to believe you
can bless my meager resources when I bring them to you. Forgive me for
being so timid when you long to use me to minister for your glory. In
the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

Many have called to ask about their future and how they should handle a relationship. Often, many are told to move onto their future love. For those whom are told that better days are coming in their relationship, are also given the path to get there.
Our lives will never reach it’s highest potential without prayer.
Without prayer, no matter where we are in life, we will still be needing and wanting.
What is Prayer?
Thought control is the highest form of prayer. Therefore, think only on good things, positive things and righteousness. Dwell not in negativity, lack and darkness. And even in moments when things look bleak – especially in those moments – see only perfection, express only gratefulness, and then imagine only what manifestation of perfection you choose next.
This is the formula for tranquility. In this process is found peace. In this awareness is found joy.
God is saying to You:
“My dearly beloved, the heavens rejoice when you pray. I have stated before that whatever happens in your life is whatever you want to have happen. I mean that. You create your own reality.
Your greatest vision of you is Me!
The following Message to you is being repeated today;
Let us discuss the Be-Do-Have paradigm and how most people have it reversed.
Most people believe if they “have” a thing (more time, money, love – whatever), then they can finally “do” a thing (write a book, take up a hobby, go on vacation, buy a home, undertake a relationship), which will allow them to “be” thing (happy, peaceful, content or in love).
In actuality, they are reversing the Be-Do-Have paradigm. In the universe as it really is (as opposed to how you think it is,) “having-ness” does not produce “being-ness,” but the other way around.
First you “be” the thing called “happy” (or “knowing”, or “wise” or “giving” or “compassionate” or whatever), then you start “doing” things from this place of being-ness – and soon you discover that what you are doing winds up bringing you the things you’ve always wanted to “have.” Stay with the process. Do not deviate or change your mind mid-stream or you may have to start all over again!
The way to set this creative process (and that’s what this is… the process of creation) into motion is to look at what it is you want to “have,” ask yourself what you think you would “be” if you “had” that, then go right straight to being.
Happiness is a state of mind. And like all states of mind, it reproduces itself in physical form.
Act as if you are, and you will draw it to you.
What you act as if you are, you become.
My statement is: “Fake it until you make it.”
God continues:
Something like that, yes. Only you can’t really be “faking.” Your actions have to be sincere. Everything you do, you do out of sincerity, or the benefit of the action is lost. Or you could actually allow the results to be altered.
This is not because I won’t “reward you.” The Natural Law requires the body, mind, and spirit to be united in thought, word, and action for the process of creation to work.
You cannot fool God. You cannot fool your mind. If you are insincere, your mind knows it, and that’s that. You’ve just ended any chance that your mind can help you in the creative process.
You can, of course, create without your mind – it’s just a great deal more difficult. You can ask your body to something your mind does not believe, and if your body does it long enough, your mind will begin to let go of its former thought about that, and create a New Thought. Once you have a New Thought about a thing, you’re well on your way to creating it as a permanent of your being, rather than something you’re just acting out.
We may ask:
God, how can the mind add sincerity when it does not ‘believe in” what the body is doing?
God respond:
By taking out the selfish element of personal gain.
We ask:
How?
God respond:
The mind many not be able to sincerely agree that the actions of the body can bring you that which you choose, but the mind seems very clear that God will bring good things through you to another. Therefore, whatever you choose for yourself, give to another.
I repeat. Whatever you choose for yourself, give to another. If you choose to be happy, cause another to be happy. If you choose to be prosperous, cause another to prosper. If you choose more love in your life, cause another to have more love in theirs.
Do this sincerely – not because you seek personal gain, but because you really want the other person to have that – and all the things you give away will come to you.
We ask God: Why is that so? How does that work?
The very act of your giving something away causes you to experience that you have it to give away. Since you cannot give to another something you do not now have, your mind comes to a new conclusion, a New Thought about you – namely, that you must have this, or you could not be giving it away.
This New Thought then becomes your experience. You start, “being” that. And once you start “being” a thing, you’ve engaged the gears of the most powerful creation machine in the universe --- Your Divine Self.
Remember, whatever you are being, you are creating. If you are being in pain, you are creating pain. If you are being in happiness, you are creating happiness. If you being in faith for that which you are choosing, you are creating that which you are choosing into reality.
TODAY'S PRAYER:
Holy and patient Father, please strengthen me so that I will look for ways to redeem those who shame and humiliate me. I know that vengeance will only poison my heart and alienate me from the insulting party.
Give me grace to react with kindness even toward those who are unkind to me. In the name of the one who did not rebuke his accusers I pray.
Amen.

1ST DAY
Beloved St. Pio of Pietrelcina, you have had the signs of the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ on your body. You have carried this stigmata for everyone, enduring both the physical and mental sufferings that racked your soul and body in a continual sacrifice. We beg you to pray for us, so that we will be able to accept both the little and the larger crosses we too must bear during our life on earth and to offer these sufferings to God, assuring us a place with him in Eternal Life.“It is to your advantage to commit yourself to the sufferings that Jesus will send to you. Jesus cannot tolerate seeing you afflicted and he will come to you and comfort you, blessing you with many graces for your soul”. Padre Pio
PRAYER TO THE SACRED HEART
2nd DAY
Saint Pio of Pietrelcina, together with Our Lord Jesus Christ, you’ve been able to withstand the temptations of the Devil. You suffered the beatings and the oppression of the demon of hell, who wanted to have you abandon your journey of holiness. We beg you to pray for us so that, with your help and the help of all of the Heavenly Kingdom, we will be able to find the strength to set sin aside and to persevere in our faith until the day of our death.“Have courage and do not fear the assaults of the Devil. Remember this forever; it is a healthy sign if the devil shouts and roars around your conscience, since this shows that he is not inside your will”. Padre Pio
PRAYER TO THE SACRED HEART
3rd DAY
Virtuous St. Pio of Pietrelcina, you love Our Holy Mother very much and have received daily graces and consolations from her. Please, we beg you to pray to the Holy Mother for us. Place in her hands the sorrow for our sins and our prayers of reparation, so that, as at Cana of Galilee, her Son says ‘yes’ to His Mother and our name may be written in the Book of Eternal Life.“Mary has to be the star that illuminates your path and she will show you the secure way to go to the Celestial Father. She will be an anchor to which you must cling in the hour of temptation”. Padre Pio
PRAYER TO THE SACRED HEART
4th DAY
Chaste St. Pio of Pietrelcina, you loved your Guardian Angel, who served you well as your guide and as a defender and messenger. The Angels brought the prayers of your spiritual children to you. We beg you to pray for us, so that we may learn to call on our Guardian Angel who is always ready to guide us to what is good and to avoid falling into sinful actions.“Invoke your Guardian Angel, who will enlighten you and guide you. God has given him to you for your protection, therefore, you should use him accordingly”. Padre Pio
PRAYER TO THE SACRED HEART
5th DAY
Prudent St. Pio of Pietrelcina, you have had a great devotion for the Souls in Purgatory for whom you have offered yourself as a victim to remit their punishments. Please pray for us and ask God to send us the same interest, compassion and love that you have for these souls. In this way, we will also contribute to reducing their suffering and, with our sacrifices and prayers, win for them their necessary Indulgences.“My God, I beg you; let me bear the punishments that have been prepared for sinners and the souls in Purgatory. Multiply these punishments for me, so that you may forgive and save the sinners and free their souls from purgatory”. Padre Pio
PRAYER TO THE SACRED HEART
6th DAY
Obedient St. Pio of Pietrelcina, you have loved the sick more than yourself, because you were able to see Jesus in them. You have performed many miracles by healing patients in the name of Jesus and thereby giving them peace of mind. We beg you to pray for us, so that sick patients, through the intercession of Mary, can be healed and their bodies restored so that they may benefit from the Holy Spirit and, therefore, thank and praise God forever.“If I knew that a person was afflicted in his mind, body or soul, I would beg God to set him free of his affliction. I would gladly accept the transfer of his affliction to myself, so that he may be saved, and I would ask that he benefit from the fruits of these sufferings... if the Lord would allow me to do it”. Padre Pio
PRAYER TO THE SACRED HEART
7th Day
Blessed St. Pio of Pietrelcina, you have worked in “God’s Plan for Salvation”, by offering your sufferings to free sinners from the chains of the Devil. We beg you to pray for us, so that unbelievers will be converted to the faith, that all sinners will repent in their hearts and that those with lukewarm hearts will find renewed enthusiasm for a Christian life. Finally, pray for all those who are faithful, so that they will persevere on their way to salvation.“ If the people of the World could only see the beauty of ones soul when it is in the grace of God, all sinners and unbelievers of this world would be instantly converted”. Padre Pio
PRAYER TO THE SACRED HEART
8th Day
Pure St. Pio of Pietrelcina, you experienced great love for your spiritual children and have helped them by purchasing them for Christ with the giving of your blood. Please grant us, who have not met you personally, the opportunity to be considered your spiritual children. In this way, with your protection, guidance and strength, you will obtain for us a special blessing from God, so that we may meet Him on the day of our death at the gates of Heaven.“It would be most fulfilling, if God would grant me just one wish (if it were possible); that He would say, “Enter Heaven!” This is my one true wish; “That God would take me to Heaven at the same time that the last of my children and the last of the people who submitted to my priestly care have entered”. Padre Pio

Note from Ming;
I hear it a lot, I ask someone how they are doing and the response is, “I’m just hanging in there.” I must say to you please be careful of your thoughts and words for indeed they can become your reality. Remember, there is no cross that you need carry in your life. Jesus Christ already overcame the Cross for us! Therefore, we are being asked to remember His Resurrection! Which give us the ability to go directly to Him and ask for Help! Remember, God never, every leaves us however our fears can allow us to move away from him.
My favorite Hymns are hereby included for your listening pleasure, I also listen many days without end as I allow His Holy Spirit to cleanse and wash me.
Blessings, love always, Ming
